a friend of mine is having trouble with her comp. She says there is spyware on her system. It's called geadoor, or giadoor (somewhere along that). Ad-aware nor spybot can detect it. She said even good programmers couldn't even get it deleted. Any info you guys can give me on this?

Tried an updated virus scanner? Also, search for CWShredder on google.

Backup, reformat, reinstall, and be more careful in the future! (Worst-case scenario)

The best choice whould be to take her HD and install it on another system with windows XP or 2000 (as a secondary disk of course) and then remove the spyware. Or create a windows 95/98/ME boot disk, boot from it and delete the spyware (her HD must be FAT or FAT32 not NTFS). Both ways require her to know the exact location of the spyware.
