I never really relized how well you peeps handle these forums.

And not to flame another EMU site, but....

I posted this (http://www.retrogames.com/cgi-bin/wwwthreads/showpost.pl?Board=cmd&Number=7573&page=0&view=expanded&mode=threaded&sb=7#Post7573) after reading a news posting on the websites main page (Muscles) (http://www.retrogames.com). I simply thought it would be nice to send some congrats. You know just show some humanity. As you can see from replies in the thread there are a few knuckle heads that should be banned IMO or at the very least have MODs give warnings about flaming.

Anyway I guess my try at starting back on those forums is over. I refuse to put up with stuff like that myself.

Thanks again MODs for making Emutalk enjoyable place to hang out and post and such. :)

Heh, there's two users I would ban without a blink. Perhaps we're not controversial enough, but at least it makes this a nice place for everyone. :)

Yeah , it's really comfortable around here ^_^

But that almost daily rom-requests are annoying :C

Well, the third guy that replied to your thread (wildcat) is definitely a douchebag, but the "let's not start sucking each other's dicks yet" part is definitely from "Pulp Fiction" :)

Well maybe then I misintrepreted a little since I have not seen that movie in ages and actually only saw it once. But yes the other guy is a jerk.

Anyway just that one post and the replies made me feel better about having somewhere like this to come to to enjoy my emulation interest.

Well, there are still some emuforums out there that are definately worse, like some so called vintage site ... :yucky:

how r ya? Well if you ask me, one of those rather "bad" forums is the retrozone. But I guess thats more a question of taste. :)

I don't see anything good on these forums, the mods ban everyone, the admins do not know what they do, there are no rules, there are rom links everywhere and the worst thing is that there is a lamer around with the name Psy-Something (I don't remeber his name) who writes bullsh*t. So what do you like about these forums? :P

You gotta love emutalk for not being a stupid flaming forum like gamefaqs. I like how the mods keep rom requests and other sh!t in check in this forum.

I've always wondered why there is such hostility towards rom requests...I mean I'm sure all of you download roms but do it properly by using Google. Oh well, I don't want to get into the whole arguement here. There is another forum where I will request roms. ;)

And what is up with this :ala: smiley face?!

2) Attracts lamers

I'm glad everyone enjoys the forums. But on the other hand, those who don't probably don't visit. :P
