..."analyze"?
Do you spell it with "s" as in "analyse" or with "z" as in "analyze"?
Just wondering what YOU prefer. I always thought it was spelled with "z", but microsoft word says it's spelled with "s".
Meh.

Either is good. Analyze is the American spelling of it, although both are acceptable in English usage.
Edit/ Clarification, it is fine to use American spellings, as long as you are consistent with it. There may be some exceptions though, so best stick to the 'correct' versions.
I believe at one point (ize) was one of the default English versions of (ise) (not 100% on that).

For me it's not a question of preference, since I live in the UK, analyse is the correct spelling (coming from the noun analysis.) If I was to use 'analyze' in one of my essays, that would be a spelling mistake.
HOWEVER! If I lived in the 'Z-friendly' US, then I think 'Analyze' would be the correct spelling. Many words in "US English" have been changed in a similar way with z's instead of s's.
eg. Oxidise/Oxidize
If you are not a native English speaker then I suppose you could have the power to choose, but here in the UK it's rigid (and something I've got to be careful of when I write!).
