DX 9.0c rev 2149

Anyone heard of this yet and downloaded? I'm not gonna post a link here (just incase it's illegal or something). I heard a lot of people get increased frame rates on Farcry and a couple other games when you install DX 9.0c rev 2149. I have it, I don't think there is much of a difference since my card is kinda old. Anyways maybe you can search for it on the net or something. I just thought I should spread the news.

Or you could just update to SP2 beta. It comes with dx9c rev 2149. It's available for download from microsoft.com.

yep, its more secure to install th entire SP2 to get DX9c, but i download the "rip" version and installed and i dont see any miracle...... only 1 or 2 fps....

they may be getting fps boosts for using a GeForce 6800 and an unreleased FarCry patch that allows them to take advantage of the Pixel Shader 3.0 support of FarCry, DX9.0C, and the 6 Series new CineFX 3.0 shader thingamabobbler
