I have recently extracted some files from an ISO of a game (I want to dig up it images/sprites) but I have run into some files types that I can not seem to extract out of or something. They are .arc files and win zip want to associate with them, but when I go to open them, WinZip says "Invalid Header".
I am curious if; a) This is the right spot for this, and b) If I can view what is in these files/achieves?
Thanks for much help, even you point me in the right place to ask. Thank you.

If winzip can't open them they're probably not in the standard arc format. They might not be compressed files at all, but the developer could use arc files as something completely else using their own format. Just my guess at least..

Giving a quick run through filext dot com it says those are old-version LH ARC files, you could look online (simtel?) for the old LH ARC program and try that, or it might be as gorxon suggested and the developer did a custom file type. (This happens sometimes in setup files *.CAB not being readable by archive programs for example)
