Whirrrrrrrr......my pc won't shut up. Help!

Hey, I bought my pc less than a year ago and it's already making REALLY loud and annoying sounds. I've tried opening it up and cleaning the fans of dust, but I still get it, so I've tried everything a hardware novice could think of with no hope. Now I gotta whack the tower as hard as I can for like ten minutes just to make it a little less quiet, but when I restart my computer, it does it all over again! PLEASE, tell me what to do!

Well, seems obvious you should pinpoint the device causing the noise (probably a fan) and replace it.

Also use garage door oil on your fans. Strange, but the stuff works great and dosnt evaporate :)

Where do you put that oil? Well, on the back side of your fan, there should be a sticker. Peel off the sticker, and you will see a hole about 1cm in diameter. Put the oil in there, and spin the fan ALOT!
