View Full Version : EmuTalk moving to a new server

Our forums <a href=http://www.emutalk.net>EmuTalk</a> are moving to a completely new server due to recent traffic increase. We are in the process of setting up the server right now, and it should be up in 48-72 hours. I'd like to thank <a href=http://www.kyona.net>Redah</a> for hosting us the last couple of years, you did a great job buddy!

The new server is very powerful, and also very expensive, so if you could send a donation through PayPal to martin@emutalk.net, we would appreciate it. :)

Here's our new server, I'm confident it will be sufficient for EmuTalk and the other sites moving onto it:

<b>Dual Xeon 2.8 Ghz
2 x 73 GB SCSI
2048 MB ECC Registered RAM
2000 GB Bandwith/month
100 Mbps uplink
Red Hat Enterprise 3</b>

We will notify you when the server is ready and EmuTalk is back up.

UPDATE: The new server is up and running. Many thanks to the people who have donated so far, and for those of you who plan on donating in the future.

I kinda got bored also since this is my favorite forum to go to. I like it since it's more friendly and organized.
