Yes it is common for lockups inside buildings .Use pj64 1.3 to play without pauses and you can use the 2 press L cheats to fly over stuff , search in pj64 cheats forum for them. This game is not fully emulated. IMO , basicly you have to cheat to get anywhere in the game on a emu.
