what do i do to use the project 64 emulator?
when i open it, it says Direct3d failed to initialize your HAL device, make sure you have properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0.
And it says that my default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid. And to check that i have at least one compatible plugin file in my plugin folder. I checked and all i have are these things with gears on them and when i click them it says i have to open it with something... HELP!!! I don't know what to do...

You've got a Radeon card right? If so, set the desktop to 16bit colour and try again.
