View Full Version : Annoying of reading my posts?

I'm new, all should see it on the left side, but I've done some posts, too.
But I have a very lazy art of writing, didn't want to write to much letters.
That's the reasons, I've opened this thread.
I wanted to ask wheather it's annoying 2 <=(this is a shorting I always use) read such things. If u think so, I will try 2 write normally.
What's your oppinion?

Hmmm... It doesn't nerve me , 1337 gets on my nerves , but this is Ok for me...

Hmm... why are polls disabled for normal members ? ^_^ It would make a nice poll topic ;)

/edit : Ok , my name is written in 1337 , but i did so , because all nice names are already blocked by friggin' 1-time-posters....

Me,too.
But my writing is just a kind of making it shorter...
but in the 1964 0.99 source there was a discussion about that, that's the reason I asked in thsi topic.

Stick with normal English. Learn to type with all your fingers and you wont need numbers to increase your speed.

I really hate that style of writing '2 b honest'. I'd take PJ64er's advice and try learning to type properly ;)

My philosophy is that if you can't take an extra minute or two to proof read your posts, then how can you expect others to take a minute or two to try to understand the post.

I type with 2 fingers, but I type fast with them. Very fast indeed.

I'll third that. Whenever I see people do this, I generally picture somebody who just got their new aol account and is just now figuring out this intarweb thing that they can a/s/l people on for a good ol' time.

I hate people who somehow get my MSN account and the conversation is something like this.

Me: Who are you?
AOLer: omg hi2u asl
Me: Who are you?
AOLer: lol who r u u added me
Me: No, you added me.
AOLer: do u like 2 cyber?
Me: No.
AOLer: y not its fun
Me: Leave me alone you fucking whore.
*Blocked*

I get that at least once a week. :/

the way i see it, the less amount of keystrokes you use then the better it is while typing. Just try not to have too many typos in a post and you'll be just fine.

Well, I may have been a little harsh back in the 1964 source thread, sorry about that.
I can't see the point in writing like that, of course it's your business how you write, but it gives out kinda adolescent feeling to your posts. Maybe that's what you want...

But anyway I have no right to judge other people, so i apologize.
