Righty-o, so my next question was concerning 3d math. I'd like to know how to calculate normals in vertices for use with complex operations such as lightning. I know that each vertices takes an x,y and z value for normal. So what would I do to calculate these?

Speaking of this, anyone know a good d3d tutorial? Always looking for more, better tutorials than those I've already found.
