Hi there! I'm looking for an option to switch off the SFX in a game. Although some games features this option in their own options menu, other games don't do that. Is there any possibility/option in Project 64 (or in another emulator) that allows to turn off the SFX for only hearing the music?

I would love to do that because I want to record the music of a game. Can anybody help me or give me some hints about that?

Thanks

Well that won't help him. He wants to hear music, but not sound affects. The only thing you really can do, I guess, is to just stand still while recording the music. Perhaps you can extract them or something? No clue.

You could wait for someone to dump the tracks for the 64th note WinAMP plugin (http://www.dextrose.com/index.php?s=3&m=7&ng=&p=#n_958) and then use WinAMP's disk writer plugin to create WAVs (then convert to mp3/ogg etc.) Won't be any sound effects then.
