View Full Version : How would i be able to use a mouse with PJ64? (sorry for spamming n00b questions)

I wanna crank up some oldskool goldeneye but it is nearly impossible to play properly with just the keys, would someone yet again mind helping me...

You would have to go into your input settings and set up your contols like usual, but you would have to move your mouse to correspond to the button you want it to be, such as: left click for Z to shoot, right click for B to reload and open doors, and so on. For the axis's you would just move the mouse up, down, left, or right until it accepts it. I just got through trying it out and it works, but you might have to mess with the mouse sensitivity settings a little to get it to work smoothly.

yeah that doesnt work with PJ64 but it does with 1964, its all good anyway.

R u sayin there's no way to configure the Nrage plugin to have the mouse pick up true analog movement in P64? I'm still having trouble gettin that to work on P64.

whoah hey man i was the one asking the questions i dont know dick about plugins and stuff, all i know is that i have the newest version with the service pack and that doesnt support the mouse, probly need a different input plugin...

N-Rage's DirectInput V2 1.82a supports the mouse, just use that with PJ64 and follow what Mystic Gohan said for using the mouse.

Yeah i noticed just before that 1964 has Nrage's plugin, which explains alot...
