Project 64 and ATI catalyst 4.4

I upgraded to ATI catalyst 4.4 and now my emulator does not work using jabo's dirrect 3d 1.5.1 or 1.30 Another Dirrect 3d plugin works but it has artifacts and other random issues where as jabo's works perfectly. Is there some incompatibility with catalyst 4.4? If there is can it be fixed?

Sorry about this but I just realized that 4.4 must have reset my display back to 32bit making project 64 not work.

I had the same problem. You have to set your desktop colour to 16-bit or else it doesnt seem to register. Most people set this colour to 32-bit thinking its ok, well for some reason it isnt.
