Quite awesome, amazing what they managed to stuff into such a small download.
By the way, was it horrendously slow for anyone else?

I checked this out the other day, pretty impressive. It will be slow on anything but top of the line hardware simply because the textures are generated on load via a mathamatical algorithym (hence the slow loading time and the minute file size). Course the way the textures are rendered causes the thing to take big hits in performance.

I've heard with top of the line, or near to that hardware it should run fine (albeit without AA).

what do u consider top of the line hard-ware.......i ran this on a p4 2.8ghz, 1gb ddr ram, and a radeon 9000, but it still runs slow!

Run fairly OK here - bit jumpy, AA didn't work. Got stuck when some of the spiders became invincible when they were underneath a gun! Impressive filesize, it great what you can do with such a small amount of space!

Runs full speed here, with 2xAA, the mouse sensitivity seemed high, though.

Yeah, it only works on 9700 and up well at all. That's what /. was seeming to say.
