Just wondering where on your computer you guys install your emulators. There doesn't seem to be any standardized location, so I just save mine in My Documents. :)

My emu-folder is directly on C:\ , so i can access the config or rom files easy...

Damn, someone needs to start a more interesting topic. Why anyone would want to know where I install things is beyond me. I install them in my pants.

Wait, you said emulators...:bunny:

Under D:\Console Emulators on my better hard disk! In this folder I have sub divisions for Atari (containing stuff to do with the Atari 2600, 5200 and 7800), Gameboy (includes GB/GBC/GBA), GameCube, Master System, Mega Drive (inc. 32X etc.), NES, Nintendo 64, Playstation and Super NES with an extra folder originally entitled 'Xtras' where I keep all my GoodTools and other rom tools for the various consoles.

In each of these folders contain further folders where each of the emulators are, and of course rom folder(s). For example, my Super NES folder contains a ZSNESW 03.13 folder, a Snes9x 1.42 folder, a rom folder and an 'Advanced Extras' folder that contains misc stuff such as translation documents and my SPC collection.

I have shortcuts to all the emulators I use in my start menu for easy access.

I was bored, what can I say? :P

Clements, that's quite a collection you have there. :) I also forgot to mention that I store my ROMs on a CD-R, with all of them named according to their corresponding Good Utilities (by Cowering).

Like Clements, I prefer to keep my stuff nice and organized.

Why deal with the tedium? Copy them bastards to your hard drive, now!

Unless you mean that you have backups on CD-R, to which I say: duh, everyone should do that. :teehee:
