anyone found a fix for the radeon drivers?

im at a loss. i havent been able to use project64 since the catalyst 4 drivers. i attempted changing my desktop depth to 16bit which some said fixed it on their system. i was still unable to get project64 to access directx. if anyone has found a plugin configuration that works with the catalyst drivers please post them here.

radeon 9600xt 256mb... catalyst 4.4 drivers

When you changed the desktop to 16bit, did you also then change the graphics plugin to 16bit? If not it still won't work if the Windowed setting is 32bit.

Tag the reason it works is because the D3D7 version of Jabos plugin works fine. It's the D3D6 1.5.1 (and I'd assume) 1.5 that people are having problems with.

i cant even get to the plugin settings though. says must start dll before editing or something.
