Ok, I am a complete newbie at emulation etc. so i need a lot of help. I would like to know the best settings for majoras mask but i am unsure about what all the settings do. I am using 1964 but also have pj64 both latest versions.
The video plugins i have are both Rice and Jabo's, Azimers Audio latest.

My specs are:
P4 2.8ghz
512Mb RAM
geforce4 mmx440

Current problems include poor sound (crackling), graphic glitches such jagged edges and something like black triangles falshing near the corners.

any help would be much appreciated.

try using jabo's audio to get rid of the crackling and make sure the sync audio is checked in the sound options. to get rid of the jagged edges you need to use a higher resolution in the emu or antialiasing on your vid card (tho the gf4 mx really cant do aa very good). as for the triangles, youll have to play around with the graphics plugin (likely the combiner) to get rid of them, or try difference graphics plugins.

Do you have the lastest nVidia drivers (56.64 or +)? post you driver version. i'ts very strange either Rice's either Jabo's plugins don't work with your nVidia card (i played on a TnT2!!!!!)

i had problems with starstorm drivers (a nvidia hacked driver). try to not use.
