What does the GDI framebuffer do exactly? I'm not a programmer, so I'm not asking about the actual code of it...I'm just curious if someone knows what it does? (or even what the GDI stands for).

When using PSOloader, the PSOloader uses a framebuffer so that what was on the screen before is erased and initiates the video for the homebrew. The GDI framebuffer does pretty much the same thing, starts up the video portion for the homebrew. Yeti3D didn't work because it used something that would only work with the PSOloader Framebuffer.
