Plugins and optimum settings?

Hey guys, I'm sure you get these alot, so I'll make it as quick and easy as I can.

I'm running a 650Mhz AMD with a Geforce 2 MX/MX 400 (64mb) and I have 384 Ram.
Using the newest PJ64, what would be the best way for me to get the best results out of playing goldeneye?
I'm pretty new to emulating n64, so I apologize if the questions seem stupid.
Thanks in advance guys, hopefully I can get this to run even half decent.

I suggest using 1964 0.99 instead, enabling frameskip and using either Jabo's D3D6 1.5.1 or Rice's Video plugin. It still may be slow, but this is about the best you can hope for.

Someone else suggested that to me also, but not only does it run worse, it looks worse also.
I'll keep messing with stuff, hopefully I can make something work.

It shouldn't look any different as long as you're using the same video plugin... you can copy the PJ64 plugins into the 1964 directory and then select them in the 1964 settings. You also need to copy the m*.dll files from PJ64 into the 1964 root directory.
