Its been a while now.has any emulator passed project 64 yet ? just wondering

All a matter of opinion. 1964 is the main competitor, with Nemu slightly behind.

Try 1964 0.99, Nemu 0.8 and of course PJ64 1.5 SP1.

Use whichever you like best.
