Problems with full screen...

I just got the new version of 1964, and whenever i try to do full screen i get the error message "Can not initalize DX8, check your direct settings" i was wondering if anyone knew why, since i have no idea why it would say this other than i am running dx9. But i would think it would still be ok...any help would be appreciated!

full screen works with other plugins, but it wont work with rice's. I have a p4 2.8, 512 ram, and a 128 meg video card, so i dont think its my computer

Yeah, I ran into this one before. If I remember correctly, I just reinstalled the emulator. The other option is to pull out the plugin directory. Start the emulator so it says no plugins found. Close the emulator. Put the plugin directory back. Start the emulator again to find the plugins and try out the full screen again. The idea is to reset the software. My guess is you had DX8 on and you recently updated to DX9.
