View Full Version : No sound...whatsoever.
Eh...?

=| For some reason, none of the Audio Plugins produce any sound whatsoever for any of my games (particularly Mario Kart 64 which I really do like playing it with sound =D) I have tried to use jabo's audio along with the rsp plugin, but nothing changes...
...the fact that I can't access schibo's plugin via 1964 kinda makes me think I should reinstall the application. I'll reinstall it tomorrow; I should go study for my test >_< I'd appreciate further help if the problem isn't associated with having to reinstall it.

I get sound, but I've noticed with certain games and rices plugin for video, i lack sound as well, you might want to try a different video plugin and see if it helps

I have tried a differnt video plugin, presently using glN64 0.4.1 and i still have trouble with sound. Either no sound at all or i get sound that is crappy, unbalanced, and crackling.

It could be because you have onboard sound which is sadly just as bad as onboard video, your best bet would be to hop over to pricewatch.com and pick up a cheap PCI sound card.

Try using a RSP plugin like that one from PJ64 .

haha...silly me >_< After I booted up pj64 (which always had sound work) and saw that sound was not working, I thought that I wasn't doing something right -- so I booted up the Audio task manager thing and saw the Wave balance was set to 0 ^_^ An honest mistake.
1964 is great so far yay Thanks for everybody's help too.
