Hello, my name is Fouine95 and i'm french :)

I would like to konw what is the best N64 emulator for my PC : Celeron 533Mhz with 512 mo SDRAM under winXP. My video card is a 3DFX voodoo3 3000 AGP 16mo.

best guess,

1964 (probably the best and most compatable with slower systems)

and use the

Glide64 plugin which will make the most of that voodoo card.

yeah definitly. 1964 has a frameskip, I get full speed

OS is importante? because if 1964 is faster under WIN98SE, i can use it.

actually, i use 1964 + glide and i try to play to mario kart. video is OK but sound is cut by moments. all my other plug-in are default.

use schibo's Audio plugin and disable the speed limiter (F9) it should run ok. Also, for the OS, it depend of the drivers, there is some drivers that makes it run faster and they are for win9x. And, too, since it's a Celeron 533, you can try win98se, it will maybe run better.
