damn half life cd keys!

Has anyone else been getting 'Sorry, but your cd-key is currently in use' messages whenever they want to play some counter-strike? I have a valid, legal copy of half life as well! Anyone got any workarounds or perhaps a valid key hat they could donate to me ;)

i got on internet cd key but when i go to PLAY ON INTERNET it
start again and again.and every time when i go to PLAY ON LAN
i saw no one create a game.


CAN SOME1 OUT THERE HELP ME?

if you are telling the truth, i heard that you can scan in the box of you hl with the cd key and send it to sierra, they will supply you with a cd key then. but this is only if you are for real

No go there macca, I got it free from a qxl promotion. It pisses me off that they have the nerve to distribute free half life cd's but don't bother giving out cd keys

oo there are pleanty of ways for some random guy to jack your cd-key, won't even start;)

You are asking for a cd-key (crack/keygenerator) for half life which is illegal to ask for just check the forum's policy :angry:

Shut up zero, I wasn't asking for a cdkey generator, I was just wanting to know if anyone else was experiencing the same problem. Why should I have to resort to getting a key generator when I have a legal (I think) copy of the game?

You might be right in this case but I am getting annoyed by people everyday beggging fro Roms or any other kind of warez or something like that and here's the latest. (This guy was called Supreme if I remember well) I hate ROM Beggers !!!! :angry:

Oh well, sorry if if it seems like I overreacted, but you have no idea of the amount of respect i have for this forum's rules:look:


Anyways, it doesn't matter anyway, I've sorta stopped playing multiplayer pc games, consoles are better in that aspect. PC's only do it for me in singleplayer and emulation.

i have a fine copy

there is no problem with my copy of Half- life (legal), but the problem is i got the game just recently and Counter Strike is version 1 along with half life, so i have to update to get the multiplayer running, but when i looked at the patches, i found they all sum up to 100MB!! for gods sake i would never download a patch that big for just an update, what ere they thinking???
is there any way to fix the game to a version 1.3 without needing all that HUMUNGOUS space?????
