If you have found better game settings for certain games, report it here.

Note about posting CF settings: The speed of games due to CF settings in most cases are subject to your processor's speed, so please don't post those here. Read the help manual for more information about Counter Factor (CF). You may put a CF setting here if the game is made playable with the new setting when it wasn't working with the original settings. Posting other settings are fine :).

I think this rom should be changed to PAL 50 Vi/s in the ini, it seems too fast with 60 Vi/s sound wise.

I do not kow that much about programming. However I have been nagging Trotterwatch and Schibo to get Body Harvest fixed up for the 1.0.0 version whenever it gets fixed up. Basically I read somewhere (I think it was Olax's Emulation centre) that Project 64 V1.3 works best for this game. I have played it, it is fairly stable, but there is some small work to be done, I just thought you would need the settings that is set up in the core of this game in this version of PJ 64 (as I said I do not know a lot about programming)

[5326696F-FE9A99C3-C:45]
Name=BODY HARVEST

I am not sure if that helps, but I hope it does

These are my settings for this game. I know that you have a few adjustments to make for it. I recommend that you change them

EDIT: I think it was the ones that I ended with a star that are different.
Core Note: The ROM is still a little buggy with regards to timing.

I think Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire v1.2 should be set at about 25 VI/s, because the intro runs way too fast at 60. I don't know about v1.0 and 1.1 of the ROM, but most likely they are the same.

with azimer 55.1 is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for the tip. but azimer audio uses 50%+ of my CPU.........

with Jabo's plugin + hactarux RSP we have the same azimer quality with less CPU use (20% of mine)

i'm stay with Jabo's + RSP duet.......

Top Gear Overdrive (U) [!] Playable! (Use Rice Daedalus 5.2.0, gfx errors) -> Playable! (Use Rice Video 5.5.1, intro slow)
don't forgive to update the settings as liteuser posted on FAQ thread. works very well this game. :D

Pilot Wings 64 (U) [!] - Playable! (Use Rice Daedalus 5.2.0) -> Playable! (Use Rice Video 5.5.1)
since the rice video 5.5x don't have the shadow problem and don't need the shadow cheat we can use rice 5.5.1

For me Azimer is really good, I have some crackles (i hope it's the good word) with RSP and jabo's. But it's true azimer is very heavy to use...

I just tested top gear overdrive it seems very good in-game. I have just some gfx error for the menu. Anyway with the settings of liteuser E, U, and J, seems works correctly...

jabos crash at start menu....
other plugins works but sometimes crashes too (ramdomly)......

*** shadow cheat is working perfectly with TLB off ***

see the image......
I don't think this is at all related to TLB. I've had it OFF since January and played many, many hours on this game with various plugins from Jabo's to Glide64. It's something else that's causing this-something that doesn't like the TLB off for some reason. I have DMA to NO and 32 bit to yes-it might be something else in there.

yousuke ide's mahjong school swith dma in segments and cp1 unusable exceptions to yes for both. makes the game totally playable with rices. other plugins can show the intro and some ingame. before it wouldnt show anything but a black screen.

of course this game is not playable but those settings make it boot and not locking. For sound use Jabo/Jabo RSP. Use Lemmy gfx plugin to see something. I succeed to get in game but it's difficult as you can't see a lot of things.

With Rice plugin nearly nothing ....

That's sad, but somebody could do it for all of us...
But I have the fear, that I will be banned if I would do it...
SO I let it be.... Mods, b´please say something to this post, would it be bad to post a updated ini?

i had that same problem happen to me with the no controller, in 1964 you can save a controller profile, but you also have to hit the OTHER save button too on the upper part of the box....thats how i fixed my problem, it didnt autoload my profile till i saved with that button.

CF=2 for Diddy Kong Racing 1.0
CF=3 for Diddy Kong Racing 1.1

DKR 1.0 seems freakishly fast .. :/

EDIT:

Paper mario seems to work better at "At VI Origin Change" and no framebuffer (default). It *does* flicker, but only once (because it's on change, not update), and it doesn't lag during cutscenes (such as when you first meet merlon or whatever his name is). It still lags when you get your fortune read, but I solve that with frameskip. It also fixes some graphical errors (such as seeing objects through walls for no apparent reason).

RE-edit:

Hrm, with those settings it seems to gimp up 1964 when you choose 'restart'.. it works as soon as you close and open the emulator again though.

EDIT 3:

Damnit. I think "at VI change after screen is drawn" would work.. hrm..

Well, if these two things existed, it'd be awesome.

At VI change after screen is drawn (I honestly can't even remember why I thought this one up XD)
No framebuffer if VI/s drops below 5, otherwise Basic Framebuffer (to prevent lag during cutscenes, and not flicker in menu's/battles)
