Harvest Moon Problem

Hi people! Im new here,so dont call me a idiot!

My problem is w/harvest moon on n64. When ever someone says something in a message box, the letter 'L' is not there! (ex. like would look like this- ike)

Im niot sure if its my pc, the rom, or the emulator.



My specs are:
Intel Pentium 4 Proceessor 1.70 ghz
ATI Radeon 7500 Pro
512 Mb Ram
NEMU v.0.8
Intel Motherboard(not sure wat model)
