You heard right, Dejap (www.dejap.com) has translated the biggest game for the SNES. Many have been anticipating this release since Dejap's first Beta and this translates everything in the game, although this is not a final patch, so be sure to post any errors in this thread here on the Dejap Board:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Finally I can actually play Star Ocean, something I put off after seeing how incomplete the menu translations were.
I want to thank the one person that actually got me interested in the game in the first place, and the man that started this thread, Clements. Finally something I can do in my last few days off until I go back to University again,

Hahaha... I was lucky enough to find Star Ocean 2 for PS1 at GameStop (in EXTREMELY good condition) for $15, so I've been playing that. Screw SO1! ^_^;

Star Ocean 2 wouldn't exist if it weren't for Star Ocean you know...

I don't see much wrong with SO2's localisation.

Yes! It won't be long now before there's a finnish translation.
(Don't know why I should care, probably wouldn't play that version anyway ) :)
