Damnit, Ive been trying to figure out for 3 weeks why XP keeps crashing and doing a physical memory dump. I ran memtest like 500 passes and got nothing, scaned the hard drive 10 times or so. Turns out dust had accumulated on the metal leads to the memory stick. Fucking 3 weeks! I dont believe I didnt think of that right off the bat.

I don't know how you figured that out... I mean I have a 1987-era IBM OS/2 PC that was in the attic for ten years that was literally covered in dust that I pulled out last year... and it still works great! Defective memory vs dust vs faulty software... I'm not sure how you could solve that without some trial and error.
