boxes around graphics

there are certain graphics that have colored boxes around them, such as plants in zelda, or the trees in harvest moon....are there any plugins that can get rid of this or what do i have to change in the settings to fix?

If you´re using Jabo´s plugin activate Normal Blending in the plugin configuration, in the advanced tab. That works for me in SSB.

that helped a bit but there are still boxes around certain objects.

Sorry man, lol. I get those ALL THE TIME. Try using Glide64 with the Evoodoo Wrapper (if you don't have a Voodoo card). It gets rid of SOME of the blockiness for me. I hope that helps.
