i am getting random pauses in win98 2ed full, and there is no quick launch on my

task bar? i tryed installing it over, but still same things.how do i fix these 2 things???

am running win98 2ed full on a amd duron 750mhz with 1.2gb hd and 383mb of sdram.with a geforce4 64mb 4xagp.and dvd rom drive.windows has dx8 installed.and never did this with my slot1 pentium3 512 400mhz rdram!!

any help whould be nice.

Check the right-click menu on the taskbar, there should be the option in there. I would also recomend going to Windows update and makeing sure you have all the latest stuff. And for others to help you, it's helpfull to know, how often and when it freazes. "random" may not be random at all. Also, what are recent changes you made, if any, when the problem started?

i found out why, i was useing 2 diff.
kinda of sdram.one was 256mb, and the other was 128mb ecc ram.it works now.
