i downloaded Project 64 v1.5 and the service pack update and installed it. but when i try to run it, it says "Failed To Allocate Memory" im not sure what this is. could anyone help plz? thanks

First you have to download the mirror.. maby your computer don't meet the system recomended

you probably downloaded a bad version of it. Try downloading it from the official site.

nah i already tried the mirror, and a different site, but nothing works. plzzzzzzzzz help :S

no. im sure that i went to the download page and clicked on the 1.5 final link. on the download page, there is only 1 mirror for v.1.5 and i dont see v1.5 beta, so i think thats the full. and its still messed up. i have heard that a couple of other ppl are experiencing this as well

The failed to allcolate memory is problem is sooooooo common...or soo many has had problems with it. The easiest is to do a search.

Buy more RAM/better RAM and/or increase your virtual memory to ~double what you have it on already. Close any unnecessary RAM hungry applications like Anti-virus scanners.

If those don't work, click the files in the 'Uninstall' folder in the PJ64 root directory, then retry.

Make sure the virtual memory is at least 192 MB and make sure there is no spyware installed. Run AdAware or Spybot-Search & Destroy.

I had the same problem, it was program that came with my wireless opitcal mouse. i just unloaded the program and the problem was fixed!
Try looking up what kind of programs start up with windows
