black out

i just got in the latest version and service pack
and everytime i load it goes to black screen
i have thps and it gets two things on the bottom that say
A accept B cancel
and on army men
it goes through the 3DO graphics intro but then nothing
i am looking for different roms but cant find any yet
no i am not asking for any

i think my computer is just to old or something
i have
win98se
ati rage 128 v/card
192 ram
400 celeron
i can play regular computer games on this like
tony hawk 2 and it runs great but with the roms
it is glitchy and sounds the same
any help is appreciated

The video card is not too good, and the processor is too slow :( Perhaps someone can offer you some advice on how to get a few games playable though.

All I can think of is Corn will play Mario64 nicely for you.

You can try 1964, as it works well with low-end PCs.
