Gauntlet legends issue was looked into a while ago by zilmar and myself, we came to the conclusion that the r4300i was not sending valid data to the signal processor, which causes it to hang. so either everyone has a general core glitch, or this game is taking advantage of the fact the r4300i should really be running while the RSP is, which clearly does not happen with the current implementation everyone follows.
While you can play a little of the game in my current graphics plugin, this is due to a hack that was left in while researching the problem, the fix employed is only a temporary solution, eventually the game's data will change and it will not work, eg, it will crash.
