Impressive. Must be made with AA-lib or similar (http://aa-project.sourceforge.net/). I can't imagine anyone doing this by hand, but you never know. :P

It's hand made frame by frame using ascii creator, luckily not by me though... :D

Actualy this requires hardly any effort at all, TTYVideo will convert any video/still into ascii on the fly :P In fact, its actualy a full blown codec, its supposed to be located here (http://reality.sgi.com/cpirazzi/ttyvideo.html), but I am not sure what happened to the page.
