OK, my ident gets reset everytime I connect to IRC, with any IRC program. Normally, I wouldn't have give a crap, but since the #emulation64 bots identify me by ident, I can't get myself opped, so I gotta fix that problem.
I'm quite sure it's not a virus, because I scanned my system, and found nothing.

make sure ident is turned on in mirc, then make sure your isp isnt blocking port 113 and also make sure there isnt another program running that uses identd :P

Nope, it's not any of those.

Maybe something you've got is using Port 113, because if it is, ident can't work, and that would explain your problem, but *shrug* thats my best guess. try disabling things that connect to the internet 1 by 1 and see if the situation changes

Do you have a firewall of any kind in use? A proxy?
