I think Glide64 may have worked out this issue.

For me it's running fine on 1964 with Jabo's 1.5.

Set Buffer swap to hybrid I think. (For Glide64). Check Doomulation's sig, should'nt be hard to find a post by him:P.
MRocket you seem to be the only one where it works fine with 1964 and Jabos, have you actually played this game through a little?

Yeah, set the buffer swap to hybrid to fix the flickering in Shooting Star Summit.:)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and if you wonder where to get these, their homepages are listed in my sig, so there ya go :)

Oh nevermind :P
Here's how you set the hybrid buffer swap method! Ignore the other options, though, they're personal or preferred.

Doomulation, doesn't glide64 have it's own forum? it needs one. if it has one, use it.

Doomulation

What's wrong with showing how to set the buffer? And it has one on EmuXHaven.

your constant glide64 posts piss me off.. make a thread on the glide64 forum (as many as you like) and when necessary link to it.

Check your other topic.
And glide64's "official" forum is on emuxhaven, its hosting site. Apparently, they don't see any need for an unofficial forum, so there isn't one.

Not to speak for Smiff, but I think he meant the official Glide64 forum which is not located on Emutalk.

And even though Glide64 is great, I am surprised at how much the repeat posts of "how to fix Mario Paper" flicker is allowed. Considering how many other posts asking for the same old info are bashed and people told to search first, read the rules, and so on.

just my 2 cents

Anyway, since you started a new thread...there's no need to reply here. Your answer is there.

Doomulation

As in...using it? If so, it's a plugin, so read the manual that bundles with pj.

erm what manual, my pj64 came with no manual... I also tried the pj64 site and it didn't work for me so i have no idea how to path in the plug-in

As your version of PJ64 is incomplete go to:

http://pj64.emulation64.com/iedefault.htm

Get PJ64 1.5 and the Service Pack. The manual comes with it. It will tell you to put plugins (inc. Glide64) in the plugin folder of PJ64.

... unfortuntly, i put the plug-in in the folder... but it said it could not load the plugin...

Clements

Looks like you don't have a Voodoo card. Use eVoodoo (Use the link in Doomulation's Sig) and extract the contents and put them all in the root directory of the emu. Leave the plugin (Glide64.dll) in the plugin folder. Now select the plugin and it should work.

wheres a good place to find roms for N64, like mario 64. sorry if im breaking the rule for "asking for roms"

im having a bit of trouble finding mario 64, i was just woundering where everyone go for their rom needs?

revl8er
November 23rd, 2004, 05:44
Why open an old thread just to ask for a rom? I don't know what it is with newb's always doing this. Read the rules, it states not to ask for roms on this forum or you will be banned permanantly.

Ok so like, is there anything besides Glide64 I can use? Because I think it makes me download another type of videocard, and I have a different one.

Trotterwatch
March 24th, 2005, 08:49
It doesn't make you download another type of videocard (that is actually impossible).

Download glide64 and follow the instructions, the wrapper translates from the GlideAPI into one your videocard should understand.
