Does anyone think that the creator of corn is still alive and has an email address?:ermm: (I already know that his emuHQ email is dead.:plain: )

He has withdrawl himself from the emulation community, and you can't get ahold of him for a reason...

He only wanted to release one version of corn, but he was persuaded to continue, one major reason was because of a pay per minute/refferal service, he got money off every person who he referred. He gave registered users betas 2 weeks in advance before releases. The service died and bwb (ex emuhq admin) got an email from a spoofed address asking to release 0.3. This was contra's chance to discontinue corn and make it seem like it was the scene's fault the beta got leaked. The cold hard truth :P

Well, I mailed PeterD a long time ago about Corn, and he said the following:


the author of Corn only worked on the thing for a short time, then completely gave it up. Personally I think there's more to it, but we may never know what happened to that guy. From memory, he lived and went to school in the orient somewhere, and was going off to school when he released the last version. I could be a tad wrong, but not totally.

I think the missing part is that the beta has leaked.

I think all uncompleted (and debatably completed) software should have it's source released to the public...it should be programmer's code of honor..or something..
