Well, I recently switched over to Linux, and besides not being able to get Hardware acceleration I love it. So that brings me to this:
What do I need to do to enable 3d Acceleration for my Voodoo3 in Red Hat Linux 8? I've tried just about everything, and I'm getting frustrated.

I also have the RedHat 9 ISO's, so if it's any easier, or if it's worthwhile upgrading I'll go ahead and do that. (I can only imagine it having worse 3dfx support though.) Thanks ahead of time.

RedHat sucks.

And you'll need a native Linux Voodoo3 driver. Check www.voodoofiles.com

I tried there before, nothing but a dead link that has been dead for a long time. I really only have access to Red Hat, because that's the only distro I could buy at the bookstore (Actually, a book on Linux with the first two CD's included). I'm on a 28.8 connection.
I have tdfx, which came with XFree86, and I've got the glide package (Libraries/Headers). I've also got MesaGL, which I've had trouble getting to compile with Glide.
