I was thinking of something about the control plugin and how to make it better. Consider this as an idea:
Using some of the Ultra/SupraHLE code, create preset keys that change the range of the analog stick. For example, if you're trying to aim your bow or hookshot in the Zelda 64 games, you could hold down the shift button to have a more accurate aim.
