Our time is limited. The guys who are supposed to be our beta testers barely test more than 10 roms a week (if any). So we only expect limited feedback from them. In the long run, I found out that the scene couldn't provide true beta testers.
If I had to define today's beta testers, I'd say : Man who wants to get binaries first and also see his nickname in one or more "about boxes".
So, to tell you the truth, and consider this as a new and exclusive announcement, we decided to release some updates on a rather quite regular basis.

For instance, regarding roms ...
Question : "Game "X" is said to be playable but does not work"
Answer :
"Various possible reasons :
1) Make sure you are using a verified good rom
2) If the eDynarec is not recommended, switch to the normal recompiler in the CPU options
3) Try using another video plugin (Xengine, Jabo 1.5 or Glide64)
4) Try using the internal audio or the "no sound.dll"
5) Try another input plugin
6) Only use some verified Good roms (use GoodRoms 64 to check your roms)
7) If the rom version you have is not mentioned as playable in the ini, use another version.
If none of the above worked, please report us this problem."
The documentation constantly refers to a limited set of plugins. We do not wish to compromise the whole project while busting bugs with all of the existing plugins.
So use some other ones at your own risks. But it will most likely end up into various compatiblity issues. However, we've made our best to develop our own plugin and add support for the best, or atleast most used plugins and in the end, we'll all get them to work.
The process detailed up there helps man know wether a rom locks up because of the UltraHLE core itself or not. If not, we currently consider that it should not be a priority.
What if after these tests, a rom mentioned as "Playable" still won"t work? Then we are interested in hearing this since it could take a couple seconds to fix the issue.
Same applies with sound being too fast on a given rom.
A particular rom can sometimes be speeded up on demand aswell.
UltraHLE 2064 remains "particular" compared to other emus. It has particular ins and particular cons as well.
Make sure that your support is greatly apreciated. We are well aware of the fact that 99,99% (an easy to estimate ratio based upon downloads/reports) of the emu users hardly take time to even report problems. It's then easy to appreciate emutalk's users reports.
