View Full Version : Unable to use roms succusfully

Well, this doesn;t have much to do with the actual emulation, but whenever I start a rom PJ64 says that it's running but doesn't show up. it's worked before and as far as I know I haven't changed anything significant... It works fine in full screen, but that's not what I want.

Computer specifications? A crappy grapchis card could be your problem, but it is hard to tell without a detailed account of your computer.:getlost:

Try changing your desktop colour to 16bit, see if that helps at all.

Okay, I have a crappy graphics card, but That's not the problem. When it opens it looks like it's minimizing but the window's still selected. 16 bit doesn't help. It ran before so I dunno...

As Lachp30 said, posting your computer sepcs will help with the process to finding out what's wrong. Simply saying "it dun' work, what do I do" won't really help them. :)

Hmm. I have a TNT2 Gfx card a 1.7GHz Celleron Processor 512MB RAM... What else do you need to know?

1) Have you got sound?
2) Which plugins are you using?
3) Which PJ64 version do you have?
4) Are the other emulators (1964, ultrahle, Nemu...) working or do they have the same problem?

1) Yes, I have sound.
2) I'm Using Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5
zilmar's Audio Plugin
Jabo's DirectInput7 1.5
3) I have Project64 Version 1.5
4) No.

Start a game, right click on PJ64 in the start-menu in the and choose maximize and it will work.

Nope... The Maximize button is blanked out.

Well, that problem's fixed! I just edited a few things, can't remember what though...
