1999 was a huge year for N64 emulation. First, of course, was the release of UltraHLE, the first public N64 emulator with complete 3D graphics and speed for MANY popular games at the time. Some months later, we heard more from three other popular emulators: Nemu, TRWin, and Sunset. Below are two screenshots that should bring back memories from the good old days of Sunset. Many new people to the scene won't understand or recognize there... but many vets. should. Thanks to 64bit for the two images. :)

/em had a p133, with a S3 Virge card.

Amazingly enough, UltraHLE ran, after the wrappers started appearing. UltraHLE boasted it could get 30fps - I got one frame every 30 secs hehe.

The scene has quite a different atmosphere now.

I remember that too Azimer. :)

And I remember when I met Azimer the first time, was quite an experience. Love starts with quarrel? :D

You call that a quarrel? You haven't seen quarrel yet! :)

I have years of sickbits experience!

Lately, he's been talking to me with some frequency on IRC. He's really not a bad guy. He has his own quirks like everyone else does :)
