I don't know anything about programming, but do you think that the open source supplied with 1.4 can make a differance to it in the hands of a good programmer? Or is 1.4 the be all and end all of project64....

Just curious :)

hello guy,
In my opinion, it will be a very hard work to improve the great job they have done, but I think that if a very good programmer works on that, it would be a very nice emu, as it have already a great potencial. that's what i think.

PJ1.4 is already a rather nice emu.

Since the CPU core and shell functions work pretty good with most games right now, what PJ needs most is a better GFX plugin.

Beside improving recompiler accuracy and performance, there aren't that many important changes that could be made to what source code was released.

net play is probaly the easiest thing to add .. other then that I am not sure what people would do .. there are still probaly bugs in the core, but not anything major ..
