I spoke to <a href="http://icarus.boob.co.uk/">CyRUS</a> yesterday and he let me know that he added some videos of Icarus, a yet to be released DC emulator. CyRUS updated the Icarus website today with some more info regarding the videos:
<font class="post_quote">Contrary to the majority of speculation, every single one of these videos is in fact genuine. They are of course all sped up to 30 frames per second, and were recorded by our tester using Ector's Directx9 port and evidently improved version of F|RES' OpenGL graphics plugin - compare the latest Shenmue video with the previous one!
Again the emails will stream in as to why Icarus has not been released... the fact that I have just played Jet Set Radio (first mission only since the game locks up after completion of it) at only 5fps on a p4-m 2.2ghz should give an indication as to why. This is still running under an interpreter sh4 engine, but it is clearly far from sufficient for being a useable emulator by the general public.
Things will improve, but please continue to be patient, and note that at this time it is still just a technological achievement.
