Error on loading roms

Well I got my christmas wish for PJ64 to be released today. :o) Good job PJ64 team. Pity I can't get it to work. When I load a rom I'm presented with the following error msg

I'm using Windows 98, AMD K6-2 Processor, ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP 2X Graphics Card. Direct X8 installed.
All previous versions of Project 64 have worked fine with my specs.
