1.4 ghz Pentium 4
Directx 9
Geforce2 MX 100/200 32mb
128 mb ram(is this the culprit?it seems like the weak link in my computer.)
Jabo's most recent gfx and audio plugs
N-rage's control plug

In Banjo-Kazooie the game slows down when I collect a jiggy, as it spins at the bottom of the screen. It goes back to normal speed when the jiggy disapears. It also slows down when I go near a picture, presumably because the jiggy re-appears.

In Mario Party 2 the game slows to like 7-12fps in the platform peril game, haven't noticed any other minigame problems.

These problems occur in 1964 and PJ64 (only difference in setup is I use Azimer's audio plug in 1964)

Any suggestions? Also, was I in-depth enough about my specs?

getting more ram could help. 256 should be the minimun nowadays.

But is there any other plugs or configurations that would help the jiggy and platform peril problems?

On my comp, B-K slows to ~35fps when I collect a jiggy. Nothing you can do about this to my knowledge- its a known issue, as yet unsolved. There are many other games that slow down:

Banjo-Tooie to 4-6fps doing the jigsaw puzzle.

Jet Force Gemini when you collect a weapon in multiplayer.

Mystical Ninja is the worst effected game I have, 10-12fps in-game throughout.

Eventually these problems should be solved, but for now, tweak the options to improve it, but you won't get fullspeed.

in rom settings in the settings menu, use a less secure modifying code like check memory advance or change memory & cache.
