Aye... I think so =)

I fall in to Ideal Requirements almost perfectly hehehe. Named off my system.

Well, I don't think 1964 need 1GHz CPU to run games full speed, 300M~500MHz should be fine to run most games.

My plans in the future to achieve actual speed N64 on PC, using a computer:
PII-266MHz(Cache 512Kb)\128Mb\TNT2-32Mb\OS-WinME
_OK:blush:

Me too thinks that the 1964 emu dont need a 1ghz cpu to play the most games at full speed!
I have a p3 667 and could play most or all compatible roms i own at full speed!
The only games which I cant play at fullspeed ar as i think the two clayfighter ones and twisted edge (pal version 47 fps).

LLE - asm code
HLE - C/C++ code
LLE & HLE = OLE (Optimal Level Emulation)
:)
Now I think it is necessary to work not only above overlapping of games, but also above speed of work of the emulator. It is necessary to grade on LLE.

Pfft. A sound card is a sound card. The Live! is just as good as the Audigy... the only thing is that it supports some new trendy stuff, but it's not like Live! is outdated. :colgate:

I think for emulators it it will be not so important, possible in the future important.;)

I agree, most anything over 1GHz and 1GB RAM is overkill for N64 emulation. I can run nearly all of my ROMs at full speed @ 1024 by 768 w/ 32 bit color.

My system specs:

P-III 1GHz
512M PC-133 RAM
Radeon 32M DDR
Sound Blaster PCI 128
Win 2000 Pro
