zelda majora's mask audio is bad

when i play zelda majora's mask the audio is very bad. the graphics are not good a fairy is a square, some fire is a square with a yellow circle in the middle, and when i press start when the game is startin a square appears sayng the legend of zelda majora's mask thats normal but the square is not normal. please help me this is my favorite game. please please please help me

sounds to me like u need some SPECS. uve been sitting in front of the tv too long and gotten ureself some square eyes :) hence, all the squares in ure favorate game. as for audio go and get ure ears syringed (spelling). lol. or check for intruding ear plugs.

zero: use Direct64 for the video plugin. If you have an ATI Radeon card, you will need to install the Catalyst drivers for the card for it to work.

that should take care of the video. As far as the plug-in goes, you should just use the default plugin that came with 1964. It works ok for me and all I have is an AC'97 integrated sound card.
