Well .. did you read the manual first... and secondly did you install all the VCL components?
if not hmmmm you got problems dude.
You can hust grab and use a component like you do in VB.. what I suggests is hitting VCL components and try installing a few of those.. hmm?
Also you might have disabled your components goto
project->options->packages and click the packages you want to use.
